Christmas cooking classes

Cooking a whole-food plant-based diet can be challenging at the best of times, particularly if you are new to this way of eating. When it comes to Christmas, it can be even harder!

This festive season, why not come along to one of my special live cooking classes and learn how to make some super tasty seasonal favourites that you and your family will enjoy?


Let's get Christmas cooking!

Starting on Saturday 27th November these live cooking classes are held on zoom where we will make the recipe together.

Classes last between 1hr 15 mins to 1hr 30 mins and there will be plenty of time for questions as well as a little chat and socialising with other participants.

I guide you through the recipe and will give you advice and tips as we go along. You can even show me how you're doing or get help if you're finding it hard so you end up with a delicious dish at the end.

These special classes will be held on Saturday 27th November, 4th December and 11th December. We finish with one final class on Thursday 23rd December.

Christmas Pudding - 27th November

If you love Christmas pudding but follow a whole-food plant-based diet for health, it can be hard to find one that is not laden with refined or saturated fats.

Combine that with gluten free and/or nut free, it can be impossible to find. Making your own can seem out of reach. But it's easier than you think!

In this class, we will make a gorgeously tasty Christmas Pud that is free from fats and can be made gluten free and nut free if desired. There is still lots of sugar but mainly in the form of dried fruit.

Spiced pear and orange tart - 4th December.

This gorgeous seasonally spiced tart is amazingly tasty and will impress your family and friends.

The pastry base can be made gluten and nut free and the filling is low in refined sugars but full of flavour. And of course it's all plant-based.

In this class we will make and bake the pastry, bake the pears and make the cream filling. I will then show you how to bring it all together so you can construct the tart once all your elements are chilled and ready to go.

lentil and mushroom christmas roll - saturday 11th december

This delicious savoury mains dish is a wonderful alternative to nut roast on Christmas Day. Filled with seasonal flavours, this is a gorgeously tasty whole-food plant-based option for special occasions.

Yule log - Thursday 23rd December, time TBC

My gorgeously rich and tasty plant-based yule log recipe is a must for anyone who loves this seasonal treat but has to avoid chocolate, butter and other saturated fats. Rather than missing out, this yule log is perfect for all the family - and slightly healthy too!

This is a repeat of the class I have held twice before and is back by request!
