Guest Post Guidelines

We love sharing inspiring, educational, and creative content with our readers. If you’d like to contribute a guest post, please follow the guidelines below to ensure your submission aligns with our mission and values.

About The Sensitive Foodie Kitchen

Our platform is dedicated to helping people enjoy delicious, nourishing food, focusing on plant-based, whole-food recipes and articles that support health, well-being, and inclusivity.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome submissions in these areas:

  • Recipes: Fully plant-based, dairy-free, and free from refined sugar and highly refined or saturated fats. Gluten-free and other ‘free from’ recipes are especially welcome.
  • Food & Health Articles: Educational pieces about diet, nutrition, and well-being, especially for those with food sensitivities and/or chronic health conditions.
  • Tips & Lifestyle: Kitchen hacks, meal planning, ingredient spotlights, or personal stories about thriving with a whole-food plant-based diet.

Content Guidelines

  1. Original Content: Posts must be original and not published elsewhere (including your own site).
  2. Length: Aim for 800–1,200 words for articles; recipes should include a short intro ( ~500 words).
  3. Tone: Friendly, inclusive, and accessible — no jargon, judgment, or medical claims.
  4. Accuracy: Ensure nutritional or health-related information is well-researched and accurate. Cite credible sources where needed.
  5. Recipes:
    • Must be 100% plant-based and dairy-free.
    • Ideally adaptable to be gluten-free, nut free and refined sugar-free.
    • Provide clear instructions, ingredient measurements, and serving sizes.
    • Include tips, substitutions, and allergen notes where relevant.
  6. Formatting: Use subheadings, bullet points, and short paragraphs to improve readability.

Image Guidelines

  • At least 1 high-quality image (preferably 800px wide or larger).
  • Use your own photos or royalty-free images with proper attribution.
  • No stock photos that look overly staged.

Author Bio & Links

  • Include a short bio (50–100 words).
  • One link to your website or blog and one social media link is allowed.
  • No affiliate links or promotional content in the body of the post.

Editorial Process

  • All submissions will be reviewed and may be edited for clarity, style, or SEO.
  • We reserve the right to decline posts that don’t align with our mission.
  • You’ll be notified if your post is accepted, along with the expected publishing date.

How to Submit

  • Send your draft as a Word or Google Doc to karen@thesensitivefoodiekitchen.com.
  • Attach images separately with clear file names.
  • Include your author bio and links with your submission.

Sponsored Posts Terms

Only products or organisations that align with our core principles and add value to our readers will be accepted. As a general rule, we only promote items or services we have personally used and can genuinely recommend.

If a sponsored post is accepted, the above guideline still apply, along with the following:

  • All paid guest posts are clearly disclosed as “Sponsored Content” to maintain transparency with our readers.

  • Payment must be made in full before publication.

  • Fees vary depending on content type, length, and link requirements. (Please email us to discuss current rates.)

  • We reserve the right to reject submissions that do not meet our quality or ethical standards.

  • We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, or conversions — but we do guarantee your content will be shared with an engaged audience interested in eating amazingly tasty and healthy whole plant foods.
